I am excited to share photos of this recently completed rear extension and full renovation to a ground floor flat in Tufnell Park.
The project included front and rear landscaping works and bespoke joinery throughout.
It was a pleasure to work closely with the clients transforming this tired property. (See before pic!)
Key to success of the project was excavating the ground to rear of the property and introducing and internal step into the kitchen to improve the overall head height of the living spaces while creating a tiered patio/garden.

ThreeSixDesign recently turned five years old. I’ve been fondly looking back on the many projects I’ve worked on, the clients I’ve had the pleasure of helping, and all the experiences I’ve gained along the way.
Even after five years, I still feel that same excitement when a new architect or client gets in touch about collaborating on a new project — and the buzz of putting together a fee proposal and getting started with the structural drawings.
I’m proud to have played a part in so many fantastic projects over the years, through which I’ve learned and grown a great deal. Beyond the pretty photographs and colourful drawings I share here, I really want to start showing more of how I approach the engineering — the thought process, the challenges, and the impact it all has. I’ve really appreciated the engagement on some of the more technical stories I’ve shared recently.

We are pleased to see the steel frame going up on our new build house over in St Albans.
After several months of extensive ground works which involved construction of a contiguous piled wall, capping beam, retaining walls, slab construction - it's great to finally reach this significant milestone and see the bones of the house beginning to take shape.

We are pleased to share that we have been appointed as structural engineer on a new build family home in St Albans.
Working alongside @simonknightarchitects who have developed an amazing proposal for the derelict site, we are now underway with preparing an initial structural strategy, scoping ground investigations, and working closely with the contractor Impala Property Ventures.
We will be sharing more about this exciting project in coming weeks as we progress the design.
