We travelled to Wasagamack Anisininew Nation with
@wearecreatorspath , bringing together Drezus and Threads by Thea to spend time with the youth, share stories, and create together.
In this episode:
🎤
@drezus was invited to speak about sobriety, share his life story, culture, and healing journey, and perform his music for the community. He spent time with students at Wasagamack First Nation School, answering questions and offering encouragement.
🧥
@threadsbythea led a coat-making workshop, guiding youth through hands-on creativity and design, and showing how fashion can carry culture, pride, and story.
These are the moments that remind us why we do this work – sitting in classrooms, laughing in the gym, listening to tough stories, and celebrating the strength of the youth and community. 💛
Big love and gratitude to the Prevention team, Marsha, Corinne, Chief and Council, Jordan, Shawn, and everyone at the school who welcomed us, listened, and shared with us. We’re honoured to walk alongside you and can’t wait to be back. ✊🏽🎶
