No occasion, no anniversary, just a quiet moment of gratitude. Watching you grow into the extraordinary, driven, and intelligent woman you are has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Every morning I wake beside you, I’m reminded of how lucky I am. You are, without question, the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I can’t wait to keep building a life full of moments worth remembering together.
I love you forever and always ladybug @sophieberner_
Part II — The photographs from No Kings Day.
It’s one thing to film a protest, but it’s another to feel one through the lens.
Every frame from that day carries a piece of the energy that moved through the crowd. Peace, defiance, compassion, and an unmistakable sense of hope.
There was no anger in the air, only clarity. No chaos, just conviction.
People from every background stood shoulder to shoulder, not shouting to be heard, but standing to be seen.
I got emotional more than once while editing these. There’s something about witnessing humanity when it’s at its most unified that stays with you.
Proof that empathy still exists in a city built on noise.
If anyone knows how to get in touch with the organizers or groups from No Kings Day, I’d love to make sure these photos reach the people in them. They deserve to be remembered.

Getting ready to document No Kings Day in New York City, one of the most powerful, peaceful protests I’ve ever witnessed.

What unfolded wasn’t chaos, it was community.
Thousands of people coming together, exercising their rights through compassion, love, and shared understanding.
A day filled with humanity at its most raw and most hopeful.
I’ll be honest, there were moments I had to lower the camera and just feel it. The emotion in the air, the unity, the sheer grace of people standing together hit me much harder than I expected.
Part II will include the photographs from the day, I couldn’t fit everything into one video, and it deserves the space to breathe.
If anyone knows how to get in contact with the organizers or distribution channels for these photos, please reach out. I’d love for these images to find their way back to the people who made that day what it was.
A day of peace, purpose, and proof that empathy is still alive in this city.

18,000 of you. ❤️
I honestly don’t have the words for how much this means to me.
When I first picked up a camera, so many people told me it wasn’t realistic. “it’s just a hobby,” “you’ll never make it,” “why not choose something safer?” And for a long time, I carried that weight with me.
But standing here today, looking back at the past month alone, my first photowalk, new partnerships, new projects, and the friendships I’ve built with other artists and colleagues, I’m reminded why I never stopped.
Every step forward is because of the support, encouragement, and inspiration I’ve found in this community.
18K isn’t just a number. It’s thousands of people who chose to follow along, who believe in the work, who remind me that photography can build bridges and spark something meaningful.
For that, I’ll always be grateful.
And this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to keep growing with you, to create work that resonates, and to give back, helping other new artists chase their vision the way so many of you have encouraged me to chase mine.
Thank you, truly. Here’s to the road ahead. ✨
