MESH Radio this week w/ special guest @thomasoven 💥, From our Manchester based Hardgroove buddies over at @headrushuk , the head honcho will be crossing over the penines for a short interview and an exclusive mix 🦾 Thomas Oven is a Manchester-based DJ focusing mainly on hardgroove and techno. His sets combine groovy percussion with powerful basses and hypnotic synths, always making for an energetic dancefloor! A regular in the Manchester techno scene, he has played at the likes of The DBA, Stage & Radio and Honey Street Studios. He also runs his own hardgroove event called Headrush @headrushuk as well as helping to run Club Curated @club.curated who radio live streams and monthly open decks in Salford. Headrush was created last year to create a space for more energetic/bouncy techno in the Manchester scene. Prioritising less established local DJs, it started off by throwing a series of day raves at The Bag Factory, before its debut club night at Stage & Radio with headliner REFORMIST earlier this month. Some clips from my insanely fun b2b with @jollyfknrotten on Friday at @stageandradiomcr We first met at Stage & Radio at an open decks a year to the day before this set, so doing this b2b was very full circle for us!
