Today, May 5th, we’re celebrating Liberation Day: the day that marks the end of World War II in the Netherlands and reflect on what freedom truly means.
Back in 2008, I had the honour of becoming the first DJ ever appointed as an official Ambassador of Freedom. I travelled across the country in a Royal Netherlands Air Force helicopter, performing at multiple festivals in one day, sharing music and the important message that freedom should never be taken for granted.
