Thomas Bird Studio's exhibition Point came from Thomas’ exploration of form, function, and materiality through 3d animation, sculpture and furniture design.
It blurs the boundaries between set design and world-building by bringing to life an imagined universe that the studio drew inspiration from to create a series of functional, sculptural pieces, all handcrafted and one of a kind.
We explored otherworldly aesthetic codes and unfamiliar objects, textures, and scents. Capturing a freeze-frame of a point in space and time in vivid and sensory detail.
