As a classically trained actor and self taught musician, getting to step foot in this coveted theater with cinema’s most premier film house, was a dream come true. Paying honor to the history of the space, and constructing something fresh, was the alignment of all my interests & ideas. I pulled the Ghost Light out of the closet and made sure it was a prominent focal point of the project. “Think MTV Unplugged…The Cure!” was my mantra. I hope to be able to do more things like this in the future! 🤞🏾🤎 Congratulations to Mark on being the first, a true trailblazer & warm spirit. Beauty of a Black Cauldron Vol. 1 & 2 is available on all streamers today. This 17 track anthology album is my Sign O’ The Times, Headphone Masterpiece, Love Below. It was made over the span of a few years, some of which with a broken collarbone & other exciting developments. Very proud of my production, engineering, percussion and bass playing (among other things). Could not have made this album without its photographer @guarionex_jr , or without Mix Master @sam_o.b (Obi Wan) and my bandmates @zbeeez and @itsdrewashby . Featuring @feldou on JUGO you hear now. This album comprises all the elements of Starchild & The New Romantic ethos: blending the fabric of black music & all of its facets we find in pop. We’ve been at it for a long time over here. So, I hope you enjoy this collection of work, there will be more soon :)
