The new @thisispapermountains single “Every Little Good Thing” is out now.
I wrote this song after I thought the album was done. I was running to the studio listening to the album and there were 2 songs that just didn’t feel right. So I got into the studio, removed them from the album and then wrote and recorded this song in 4 hours. I then got the amazing @benhuntrumpet and @christofer_grey to come in and lay down some horns to put the song into the universe that it wanted to be on.
It’s a song about realising that love alone isn’t enough to sustain a relationship and calling bull$hit on the Beatles line “All You Need Is Love”.
It’s out now and I hope you enjoy it!

Epilogue has been out for 2 weeks now!! Thanks for all the amazing comments and messages about it. It’s a strange thing releasing art into the world when you created it purely as a cathartic expression but I couldn’t be more grateful to how people seem to be enjoying this one!

This is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written. After a period of intense grief I came out into the light and this song came stumbling out. It went through about 4 versions in the studio before I discovered how the song wanted to be. I love it and I hope you do too.
