hello! surprise! we recorded & filmed a live acoustic version of Late Day Sun during soundcheck for our show at @pearldiverdunedin in September, and it’ll be out this Friday (on streaming at 12am and the video will be out at 10am). yay!

Becca and I have been dreaming of making a music video together since we were 19, moving into our first flat. This year, that dream finally came true and what a joy it has been to have our worlds collide. We had the most incredible team helping us bring this concept to life in a tiny room, and we truly couldn’t have done it without them. You guys made magic happen, thank you from the bottom of my heart. LATE DAY SUN is a song about that strange in-between phase, when you’re still young enough for your inexperience to be forgiven, but old enough to crave progress you haven’t yet made. As Becca says, “It’s about trying your hardest to chase the life you want and feeling like, no matter how hard you try, the world is running laps around you.” But maybe we’re all too young to worry we’ve run out of time… Late Day Sun is out now!
