Upside Down reflects on raising children in today’s environment of uncertainty. From sharing the joy of biking with kids and dreaming of rainbow powered helicopters, to urging listeners to hold their pissed off signs and face the sinking shore; every song is influenced by the world we are leaving the next generation. Cannot think of a more fitting end to the @bikeleague National Bike Summit than my first time picking up my kids from daycare on the bike this year. It’s so meaningful to make a case for safe bike infrastructure to the federal government and then come right home and be reminded why it’s so important. Thank you to @bikeleague , @reconnectroc , @roccycling , and the countless others who work hard every day to make sure anyone who wants to bike is able to without feeling unsafe or unwelcome.
