We have a new EP, it is called 'At Home, Still' released by @braceyourselfrecords

It is a selection of songs from our debut album At Home radically revamped for acoustic instrumentation only.
It came about after we played a series of in-stores and radio sessions to support the album in spaces that were arguably more sympathetic to quieter music than the fully raging Dog Unit backline. With that in mind, we started to wonder how the songs on our album might sound without all the bells and whistles of our electric live show, as just a completely unplugged quartet live in a room.
So over a day in August the four of us visited @marketstallrecording to record new arrangements of some of the tracks from 'At Home'. We then realised how the new arrangements of the songs could be explored further, so we invited a few of our musician friends to play on our tapes, and they said yes.

Our debut EP Barking to Gospel came out 5 years ago today! FIVE YEARS AGO!
We recorded it in one day with @marketstallrecording and it was kindly mixed during lock down by @fourtetkieran and james at @invadastudios did the mastering.
We then released and distributed it ourselves - sometimes by bicycle!
