We recently created a new short for
@newlab featuring
@livaq_official and had a blast filming this. David has a unique story and NewLab has been a key factor to his success. Right now in Detroit, the tech industry is starting to boom and NewLab is a main player in that growth. It’s exciting that we continue to meet more startups and learn and tell their stories for the remaining year.
This production was definitely not an easy undertaking as the weather and logistics of this weren’t simple, but our wonderful producer
@tierrasimonne_ successfully put this together for us. We kept the crew small to stay tight and nimble. It allowed us to move faster on this utilizing one vehicle. One of the key factors that kept us on schedule as well as planning was the type of gear. Lighting - Reflection and Natural Light. Camera - two rigged
@reddigitalcinema Komodo’s with Weather sealed lenses and the Ronin 4D by
@djiglobal . I could easily hop out the back and shoot gimbal shots on the ground without the need of a grip team. Also a much more affordable option than a massive cinema zoom and Z Arm attached to the car.
