Jules Ruhl’s east side intervention are finished! Part of ORG and BBS’ Beeldkwaliteitsplan, Jules Ruhl transforms a steep, fragmented site into an inclusive, green public space that links the Delacroix metro station, the Ropsy Chaudron Bridge, and the canal. This intervention supports both climate adaptation and everyday urban life in Anderlecht, according to the principles laid out in the Beeldkwaliteitsplan “BKP" for the canal.

As projects have grown in complexity, so has our way of working. Design is our medium but it is the method behind it, bridging data and diplomacy, that defines us. Our new website and visual identity reflect ORG’s expanded practice. Explore our new platform through the link in our bio.

One year after its completion, we’re happy to see how the Elsa Frison project has naturally integrated into Anderlecht. ORG redeveloped the site into an coherent and welcoming public space, addressing key challenges for the Brussels-Capital Region : inclusive use, balanced mobility, water management, and the integration of sport and landscape. The project is part of ORG and Bureau Bas Smets’ broader master plan for Biestebroek, and follows the principles of the Beeldkwaliteitsplan, also developed by ORG and Bureau Bas Smets for the entire Brussels canal zone. At ORG, we hold internal gatherings called ORG Talks to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives, fostering knowledge-sharing amongst ORGers. These sessions offer unique insights into our work, and we’re happy to share extracts from these conversations to provide a deeper understanding of the scope of our efforts and the way we work. On Monday February 2nd, Jelle Potters, project leader and architect at ORG, presented the Maria Middelares hospital project. To develop a master plan for a hospital site that would align with the City of Ghent’s vision for a future-oriented healthcare facility, ORG conducted an extensive analysis of healthcare environments, both past and present. This analysis resulted in a framework that balances the integration of CURE and CARE programs. To do so, diverse levels of care, such as revalidation centers, rehabilitation centers, and transition houses, are incorporated alongside investments in Medtech facilities. This concept extends beyond the hospital itself, toward a broader, comprehensive “Future of Health” embedded in the city.

On Monday January 25th, Senne Heylen, architect at ORG, presented the Oostbrug project, an urbanism project for the Municipality of Amsterdam done in collaboration with Solv. ORG was appointed to develop a shared solution together with Rijkswaterstaat and the Municipality of Amsterdam for a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge on the eastern side of the city: the Oostbrug. The bridge will connect the Hamerkwartier in Amsterdam North with Azartplein in Amsterdam East, significantly improving day-and-night connections between the north of Amsterdam and the rest of the city. Join the conversation with feedback or questions in the comments.

ORG, in collaboration with ATAMA and DDS+, has been selected to lead the design of LionCity, the transformation of the former Delhaize headquarters site in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek. Spanning four hectares, this CityDev project will convert a historic urban block into a mixed-use neighbourhood that brings together housing, productive ground-floor uses, public space, and zero-emission mobility. The master plan supports long-term sustainability while reinforcing the site’s social and architectural legacy. We are proud to be part of this ambitious urban regeneration initiative as LionCity aims to honour the memory of this historic location while shaping a new, dynamic future for the area. A project in collaboration with : Delhaize, Louis de Waele Immo, Jacques Delens, BCS Investissement, Louis De Waele Construction, Besix s.a, Willemen, SWECO-BUUR, Natura Mater, ATECH et Geolys.

As part of the 2025 Holcim Foundation Awards, the Europe Grand Prize goes to Art-Tek Tulltorja. Art-Tek Tulltorja revives a former brick factory in the heart of Pristina (Kosovo), transforming it into a thriving art and technology hub. Led by a collective team including Rafi Segal A+U, Office of Urban Drafters, ORG Permanent Modernity and Studio Rev, the project blends adaptive reuse and circular construction with solar power, recycled materials and abundant vegetation. The result: a “bricks to bytes” cultural and community-centered space — with maker studios, educational facilities, creative workshops, public parks and inclusive urban infrastructure — designed to foster social cohesion, ecological regeneration and new economic opportunities for Pristina’s residents. _project location: Pristina, Kosovo _project team: Rafi Segal A+ U, Office of Urban Drafters, ORG Permanent Modernity, Studio Rev | @segal_rafi @bramku @oud.architects @orgpermod @marisa_jahn
