We’ve literally been recording Admiration FOR YEARS (ever since 2021). We were literally averaging recording an instrument a year. The pandemic, theses, med school, careers among many other things got in the way as we recorded. I still can’t believe that the song finally exists and is out there for anyone to hear after taking so long to record it and even having written it all the way back in high school.

I only realized this recently but we were playing this song for about a year before we released it. Not once during that time did any of our friends come up to us and say they love Devotee (I don’t blame anyone for that). It was only when we put it out that people would tell us that its their favorite song - and its been that way for 5 years (tbf, there’s only 2 songs to choose from).
