Someone recently introduced me to Due South, a 90's show following a Canadian Mountie and Chicago Detectives solving crimes! I'm really loving it, (and definitely like BOTH Rays) we just crossed into S4! (MOUNTIE ON THE BOUNTY WAS GREAT)

Really buckling down on designing Arthur Lester from @malevolentpodcast !! Found some photos of young John Lynch to reference while I painted this. Not QUITE who I'm imagining yet, but I loved how this turned out anyway!

Painting study of a screencap from Gladiator! About 90 minutes total. It's been interesting to see how tiny, shorter studies of leaves, eggs, silverware have helped me approach more complex studies and original pieces! Huh, working on the basics WORKS, who knew?! 😂
