Eight-thin hours, forty five minutes and twenty five seconds.
Relay Of The Gods didn’t just break me, it humbled me, emptied me, and quietly rebuilt parts of me I didn’t know were missing. This wasn’t just about running, but about staying present, choosing faith over fear, and continuing when the body wanted to stop.
A week before ROTG, I was fighting food poisoning and doubting if I could even show up. But the road still called… and I listened.
Sanur → Kintamani → Ubud → Pererenan. 163 km across Bali. Every step hurt, every breath mattered and that’s what I love about distance running.
Yes, we finished last. But in my heart, we never lost. We gained trust, camaraderie, and a kind of love that only shows up when you suffer together.
