Sometimes you just need to step away from your desk. Today I was having one of those days. My laptop kept crashing and nothing was working. I wasted the whole morning carrying out reboot after reboot. I had lots of things to get done today but I realised my head wasn't in the right place. I had a banging headache and felt super stressed. So I decided to take time out and go for a walk in the rain - any wow, was it raining!! But I love living by the beach and walking hearing the rain pounding and the sea crashing up the pebbles. Yes the dog and I got a bit wet, but we both enjoyed ourselves and I felt so much better when I came home. What do you do to reset when your day isn't going to plan? ________________________________________ I'm Lisa Kerr, Neurodiversity Coach and Professional Speaker If you'd like to find out more about coaching, or you're looking for a speaker for your organisation, please go to my website – and book a free intro call (link in bio). Lovely walk with Nigel Kerr and brunch at Tern. Restaurant today. First time we’ve been in since they reopened - looks great - and nice to spot our names on the founders’ wall 😊

The AI has moved up a level since it used to add bunny ears 😆 I’d say I’m definitely on Santa’s nice list based on my sugary sweet smile 🍭 Thanks Helen Packham for the prompt 😁 #AIGenerated

What is Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, or RSD, and why is it so painful for those of us with ADHD? Find out here with my explanation and some examples of where this can be avoided with some easy techniques. I am currently taking bookings into 2026, so if you would like a corporate speaker on neurodiversity, do get in touch. ________________________________________ I'm Lisa Kerr, Neurodiversity Coach and Professional Speaker If you'd like to find out more about coaching, or you're looking for a speaker for your organisation, please go to my website – and book a free intro call (link in bio). Who's the best professional speaker on ADHD and Autism? According to Chat GPT it's me apparently. I just had an intro call with a prospective client from Canada and when I asked where he'd found me, he said that he had asked Chat GPT who's the best professional speaker on ADHD and Autism and I was the result it came up with. So that is really lovely to hear, that's actually just made my Friday, because I don't do a huge amount of marketing, I certainly don't do any paid advertising, so I'm really really chuffed that the AI has scraped all the information and decided that I'm the one you should come to. Team Poochapotamus (long story) took on the Soggy Bottom Bakery escape room today. And frankly, we were awesome 😁. Brilliant teamwork meant we escaped in 47 minutes, which is apparently pretty impressive for a team of 3. We had so much fun. Another fab addition to @mindworksgames Escape Rooms in Worthing. If you’ve not played any of their escape rooms, what are you waiting for?! #EscapeRoomChallenge #EscapeRoom @worthingandadurchamber

We often get stuck waiting for the perfect conditions, the perfect plan, or the perfect moment. But here's the secret: progress doesn't require perfection. Every small step forward matters, even if it doesn't feel significant in the moment. Those tiny increments add up over time into real, meaningful change. So give yourself permission to move forward imperfectly. A little progress beats standing still every single time. What small step will you celebrate today? 🌟 Find more tips at Thinkexceptionally.com #ThinkExceptionally #SmallSteps #ProgressNotPerfection #DailyProgress #MindsetShift #ImperfectAction #CelebrateProgress #GrowthJourney #ADHD #ADHDCoach #Autistic #AutismCoach #AuDHD #AuDHDCoach

I’ve had a lovely ‘big’ birthday today. I started celebrating on Friday with Nige, spent today having fun at @davidlloydworthing with @suzipayton_audhdspeaker.comedy and am carrying on the partying on Saturday with @jane_devos and @maddison_woods_making_waves . So many lovely cards and presents too and more flowers than I know what to do with! Thanks everyone 🫶🏻 #BirthdayTreats #ADHD #Autism #ThinkExceptionally

What a wonderful disability networking session at @thelilaccentre yesterday, located at the @sciencemuseum London. Three inspiring talks from Michelle Ovens CBE opening the session and talking about the launch of the Disability Trading Charter on Monday; David Hall FRSA of @lloydsbankinggroup sharing the wisdom that "If you solve for being disability inclusive, you solve for everyone"; and @richer_solutions_global who closed with "A rising tide lifts all ships. We are Great to catch up with f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100 friends @teaandcaketime and @vie_vipempowerment , the ever-fabulous @karen_campbell_kc and to meet @guywalshphotography IRL for the first time. But @suzipayton_audhdspeaker.comedy and I set ourselves the challenge of speaking to two new people - as we both find networking quite hard - and wow, we rocked it yesterday!! What a difference it makes to be in such an inclusive environment. We felt so much more confident speaking to new people (and for once, I even remembered to take photos!!) Breandan Ward, Sophie Goffin, Howard Taylor, Shettal Panchal, Camilla Reeve lovely to chat with you all and @cool.art2021 thank you so much for the brilliant tote bag. #ADHD #AuDHD #Autism #Neurodivergent @orborguk @worthingandadurchamber Photos: • A bright blue tote bag with a fab puffin design • Lisa, Guy, Breandan, Shettal and Suzi - five disabled entrepreneurs, dressed in an array of brightly coloured outfits • Mich giving her opening talk. She's dressed in jeans, trainers (obvs - her signature item), a white T-shirt and red velvet jacket • David Hall from Lloyds bank, a man dressed in light chinos, white shirt and blue jacket • Richard, a tall man with a dark shirt, blue jeans and fabulous pink trainers • Vie, a lady with long grey hair and a fabulous flower hairclip • Lisa, Suzi and Katie, standing in front of a big screen showing The LILAC Centre logo. • 9 physical passport-sized photos of Lisa, Suzi and Katie having fun at the photo booth. • A close up of a passport photo of Lisa and Suzi looking fabulous
