What a wonderful disability networking session at
@thelilaccentre yesterday, located at the
@sciencemuseum London.
Three inspiring talks from Michelle Ovens CBE opening the session and talking about the launch of the Disability Trading Charter on Monday; David Hall FRSA of
@lloydsbankinggroup sharing the wisdom that "If you solve for being disability inclusive, you solve for everyone"; and
@richer_solutions_global who closed with "A rising tide lifts all ships. We are
Great to catch up with f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100 friends
@teaandcaketime and
@vie_vipempowerment , the ever-fabulous
@karen_campbell_kc and to meet
@guywalshphotography IRL for the first time.
But
@suzipayton_audhdspeaker.comedy and I set ourselves the challenge of speaking to two new people - as we both find networking quite hard - and wow, we rocked it yesterday!! What a difference it makes to be in such an inclusive environment. We felt so much more confident speaking to new people (and for once, I even remembered to take photos!!)
