Holi has always been more than just a colour festival. It marks the arrival of spring, the victory of good over evil, and a reminder that joy, forgiveness and new beginnings are always possible.
But what struck me the most this year was something even more beautiful⌠the people.
Standing in the sunshine at the Trafford Centre, surrounded by clouds of colour, laughter and music, it felt like every shade of humanity had shown up. Different cultures, different backgrounds, different stories â all covered in the same colours, all sharing the same joy. For a moment, labels disappeared and it just felt like one big, happy community.
Thatâs the real magic of Holi. Colour becomes the great equaliser. When everyone is pink, blue, yellow and green, youâre simply human.
It was such a wholesome day spent with family and friends full of belly laughs. The sun was shining, the energy was incredible, and honestly⌠it felt like the universe had decided to throw the perfect party.
Huge thank you to
@rdcfestival for organising such a brilliant event and to
@payal_catering and for keeping everyone beautifully fed. The Orient car park at the Trafford Centre turned out to be the perfect space â easy, open and full of good vibes.
Itâs never a party without

Days like this remind me how powerful celebration can be. When people come together with open hearts, a bit of music, and a lot of colour⌠something really special happens.
Happy Holi. đ¸đâ¨
