On July 4, the @trlibrary opens in Medora, and weāre proud to have played a role in bringing it to life.
As Landscape Architect of Record, our work has focused on creating a landscape experience thatās inseparable from this place. Here, the landscape isnāt just a backdrop. Itās part of the story.
From the boardwalk to native plantings and restoration across the site, everything is rooted in the Badlands and inspired by Theodore Rooseveltās legacy of stewardship.
We canāt wait for people to experience it.

Matt Carlile, Roger Silver, and Jim Host joined James Rodemeyer of Bishop Engineering for the Good Fellowship tournament. Itās always rewarding to spend the day with the Des Moines area's talented network of contractors and design professionals.

On Friday, we spent the day at the @wegnerarboretum , clearing an overgrown bed near the woodland wedding lawn and planting new shrubs and perennials. šæ

š¢Announcing our 2026 ASLA-MN Award winners!
First up, Highland Bridge by @thinkconfluence received an excellence award in the category of general design.
Highland Bridge transforms a former assembly plant site along the Mississippi River into a vibrant, mixed-income neighborhood centered on parks, water, and public space. After removing more than 440,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil, the redevelopment created over 55 acres of parks and 10 miles of walking and biking routes serving about 3,800 homes, including 20% affordable housing. An innovative water system cleans and manages stormwater through ponds, wetlands, and a restored creek before returning it to the river. By combining environmental cleanup, public spaces, and housing, Highland Bridge demonstrates how former industrial land can become a healthy, connected community.

We were at the North Terrace Lake Phase 1 groundbreaking on Thursday! This project is all about improving the lakeās health and creating better access for the community to enjoy it.

From the first steps in early childhood to the proud walk at graduation. šāØ
Today, we honored the land and celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Walthill Public School education center. This new facility will house students from early childhood through 12th grade, creating a true home for the Bluejays community.
There is nothing quite like seeing students of all ages help break ground on the halls they will soon learn in. Honored to witness this milestone!
As we wrap up #WLAM2026, we want to spotlight climate and biodiversity leadership through landscape architecture.
