🐌 INTRODUCING: Slug Bae 🥬 This build took place in really just 3 weeks, from the moment we stepped foot in the amazing @flying_fox_prop_shop to the day our 7+ ft slug friend made his way to our set. After cutting out the pattern based on the design generously made for us by our sponsor Flying Fox, Jordan Bray aka @world_of_the_drift took an SUV full of upholstery foam into his home in the woods and emerged a few weeks later with nothing short of a masterpiece. Following a paint job using the gorgeous acrylics from @kromaacrylics , Slug Bae was ready for the screen. Thank you to everyone who helped bring him to life along the way; from the 4 person team (@taypalmm @theholyjones @scoopatme @frankpaige ) that it took to get the beast on and off @instamatthewgraham on set, to the other 4 people who helped pull off the puppeteering for the… big finish 👀 this was truly a team effort! Some of his credits include Riverdale, Superman and Lois and Batwoman. He’s currently working hard to become the new Sean Bean, as he has died 9 times on film so far.

OCTOBER” 🎭 ⚫️ Jennifer Koenig is a Vancouver actor who has illuminated screens big and small, channeling her lifelong love of film and lived experience into a career in the bustling Hollywood North. Among her credits are roles in Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, The 100, and Legends of Tomorrow. Most recently, she stepped behind the camera as a producer on the award-winning short film Henderson.
