The sun is back. Which means longer days, shorter tempers, fuller terraces, and rosé slowly replacing water in my bloodstream. Daylight savings hit, and suddenly my mood — and appetite — are thriving again.

@passager_cafe the ultimate NYC-style bagel : bacon, cream cheese, cheddar. Followed by a shared pain perdu that borders on inappropriate pleasure. Yes, you’ll queue. Yes, it’s worth it. Yes, best brunch in Paris, I said what I said.

@lecornichon.paris because what is a food guide without it. Same drill : best fries in Paris (beef fat, obviously), garlic rigatoni, and a €3 egg because… why not. Tried desserts for once : exceptional. Went back for dinner the same day. No regrets.

@cavecanaille terrace at 4:30pm, slightly drunk by 5. Completely acceptable. My favorite spot is back, and so am I.
