Weeks posts
The nudge always knows. You felt it weeks ago, months maybe. That relationship that requires you to perform. The partnership that’s one sided. The version of yourself you don’t relate to anymore. But you’re still here. Still holding on. Hoping it will change. Wishing it to be different. Subtly second-guessing what you already know. And every day you hold on, you’re choosing their comfort over your clarity. You’re spending mental energy defending what doesn’t work. Tolerating is expensive. It’s all “ fine “ until it’s too late to recover from. Holding on is the drain. It’s the slow leak you can’t see but always feel, resentment building, energy sucked dry, the twinge when the notification pops up on your phone. You’re not stuck. You’re just avoiding the discomfort of what you already know needs to happen. Let go before you need to. Before it blows up. In my experience, as soon you know you need to let go, do it faster. Not everyone is meant to come with you on the next climb. And you’re not losing anything. You’re getting yourself back. Your mental energy. Your clarity. Your trust in yourself. You are making room for yourself ✨ What are you holding onto that’s draining you? Save this and come back to it when you need a reminder.

I’ve studied high-performing leaders across industries for over a decade. Different personalities. Different contexts. Same inner patterns. The leaders who last don’t rely on intensity. They don’t push through on willpower. They’ve trained something else entirely. Swipe through for the 7 patterns I see again and again → They’re not tips, they are principles to embody. Save this if you want to lead differently in 2026. Ready to build your leadership capacity for the new year? Comment REVIEW and I’ll send you my Annual Review Guide, designed to help you enter 2026 resourced, not depleted.

High achievers loveee to call themselves “behind.”
It feels familiar.
It feels productive.
It feels like a standard you have to live up to. Theres a pattern underneath it:
When you don’t feel resourced, everything looks ( and feels ) like a race. Your energy gets zapped. Your overthinking speed up.
Your body goes into “catch-up mode.”
And suddenly you’re judging yourself for not doing enough… while carrying ten times more than most people ever see. Let’s pause right here for a sec and breathe. This is the moment where we get to see that this is a pattern, not a truth. This breathe, it’s a new choice.
Not to do more, but to help you return to yourself before you take the next step. Because when you’re full, the story changes.
You stop reacting.
You start leading.
You hear yourself more clearly.
And the pressure drops because your capacity rises. If “I’m behind” is loud for you lately, check your well. Pause.
What’s leaking?
What needs nourishing?
What support are you avoiding because you’re used to doing it alone? Maybe you need to step back and give yourself some acknowledgement instead of beating yourself up for not doing enough again. Your life expands when you do.
You get to move from fullness. What part of you needs resourcing this week? I see you, I feel you, I am you. All love ❤️ MB

🎙️ New podcast episode is live: Your Truth Is Your Medicine with the one and only @jannerobinson You will feel seen in this one. We go deep on truth-telling, self-abandonment, integrity, and the moments that crack us open so we can come home to ourselves. This isn’t surface-level self-help—it’s a call back to your power. Lace up your shoes and take us for a walk with you, listen wherever you get your podcasts. — Back in 2020, I said yes to a year inside Meet Yourself in Truth with Janne. It wasn’t easy. But it was honest. And it was exactly what I needed. ✨ I’m beyond honored to join the next round—as a Teacher of Truth alongside 12 other powerful coaches and facilitators. If you’ve been feeling off, stuck, or disconnected from your voice… this is your invitation to meet yourself again. 👉 Janne is leading a free 10-day experience to begin the work. It starts soon. When you put your hand up to lead, you also put your hand up to look in the mirror and acknowledge where you get to grow. 🪞 You can’t lead and people-please at the same time. Leadership isn’t about keeping the peace. It’s about calling people forward. It’s about being brave and saying the thing. The uncomfortable thing. The thing you’ve been avoiding. I used to carry what wasn’t mine. Swallow what needed to be said. Tolerate instead of lead. It didn’t serve them—and it drained me. Be kind, not nice. Kind gives people the chance to grow. Nice holds people back. Comment “burnout” and I’ll send you my free guide to reclaim the power you might be unintentionally leaking as a leader.
