This is a recording from a 5am DJ set overlooking the Solway Firth. I carried a battery power system in the dark and left a cookie crumb trail of toys for people to find me. It was a peaceful moment away from dancing in a 300-year-old roundhouse. Thankfully, people arrived to enjoy the sunrise and we broke the day in with large smiles.

Big thank you to @collectiveonthecobbles , @abdninspired , and @nuartaberdeen for letting us get away with bringing a slice of what we do through a beast of a sound system.
Aside from all the amazing artists that smashed it all day, the biggest respect has to go to @burningbushhifi for setting up and keeping the sounds going all day, and @nattyspeaks for keeping everyone on their dancing feet with truly incredible mic skills.
I would say everyone really did bring poetry to the streets last Saturday.

The Cat Lovers Club spending their Sunday pulling out the best funk, disco and hip-hop records for Belmont Bash, Saturday 25th of April!
We’ll be joining forces with Natty Speaks, Fine Times, Hours, the Wab Lab and Burning Bush Hifi bringing the party to the streets from 12pm to 6pm. Bruk will be taking care of business in Drummonds with Mark Finnie and DJ Fak from 2pm to 6pm, and we carry on into the night with the CLC afterparty at the Old Workshop with Garibaldi, kidProquo, Ricebubble and NattySpeaks. Hopefully some surprise guests will be on the mic later on, too!
