Paper rolls are one of the simplest things in the studio, but honestly, they do a lot.
They’re clean, flexible, easy to light, and let the focus stay on the subject instead of everything happening around them. Whether you’re shooting branding, headshots, fashion, couples, or something more creative, paper rolls are usually the easiest place to start and one of the hardest things to outgrow.
A little paper roll etiquette while we’re here though:
• Please don’t step on fresh paper with dirty shoes
• If the section you used gets damaged, pull it down for the next person
• Treat it like part of the setup, not something disposable
We try to keep the rolls in good shape because we know how often they get used in here.
Now for the important question… what color should we bring into the studio next?
Pull up...
You can still pull the car into the garage, open the doors, and shoot with natural light while having the consistency of a controlled space.
The garage has always been one of the most flexible spaces in the building & we’re working on some big changes - stay tuned to see what's coming next... I think creatives are going to be very excited about it.

In session.
There’s a lot happening inside these walls right now. The Vintage Studio, the Garage Studio, and the Atrium have all been moving nonstop with shoots, meetings, workshops, content days, and projects that all look completely different from one another.
When we first started building this place, we just wanted to create spaces that people could actually use. Not spaces that felt intimidating or overly polished. Just rooms where people could come in with an idea and leave feeling like they brought it to life.
This week feels especially big because we’re also welcoming @matchmakerva into the studio as they officially begin recording for the show. Moments like this are hard for us to wrap our heads around sometimes.
There are days we still look around this building and remember exactly what it looked like before any of this existed. Before the studios, before the businesses, before the people.
Now there’s constantly something happening here, and none of it exists without the people who continue to choose this place.
Thank you for being part of it with us.
Rise & Grind is back Sunday, May 17th from 9am–1pm.
This is our first one of the year, and we can’t wait to have you all back in this space with us.
We’ll have 20+ vendors set up, Beach Bum Coffee and Flourish Bookstore open in the front, and Sky’s The Limit Yoga hosting a class in the garage. There really is something for everyone here.
If you’ve been to one of our markets before, then you already know… there’s just something about them. The community, the support, the way people show up for each other. It’s not something you find everywhere, and it’s honestly hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.
You just have to be here to feel it.

This space started long before we had a place to put it.
We were collecting pieces before The Void even existed. Thrift stores, marketplace finds, estate sales - things we came across over time that matched the vision for this space.
Nothing in here was bought all at once. It came together slowly. Piece by piece. And every part of it has a story behind how it ended up here.
The Vintage Studio was curated with intention, but not in a way that boxes you in. You can move through the space and get completely different looks without having to leave the room.

We’re now booking the garage for August 2026.
Fridays and Sundays still have a little room left, but May, June, and July are just about filled.
We say it all the time, but it never gets old watching this space change week to week. The same room, completely different setups depending on who’s walking in and what they’re planning.
This is a space to gather, to create, to celebrate - whatever that looks like for you.
If you’ve been thinking about booking, now’s the time to get on the calendar.
