In this interview, he opens up about what it meant to be in a room with men who looked like him men who were winning and how that exposure changed the trajectory of his life. The DC Pathways Program, led by the Office of Neighborhood Safety & Engagement, gives men ages 20–35 a proven three-phase path to permanent employment: ✅ 9 weeks of life & job skills training ✅ 6 months of subsidized employment ✅ Long-term support to help them stay on track Stories like Juan’s are why this work matters.
