On one of the best nights of my life, I stepped on stage to such incredible energy as I launched into Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The crowd sang along with me and almost 30 seconds to the end of the song, there was a power trip and all equipments shut down. Only thing you could hear was me and the drums. I stepped off stage to allow my technical team to figure it out whilst resisting the urge to let nervousness creep in. They sorted it out, I was reannounced and I performed Rich Dad again to the same energy as before. To most in the crowd it must have felt rehearsed and intentional. And even those who realized it didn’t care, they were there to enjoy the music.
