3 Creatives ••• 3 Different Spiritual Backgrounds ••• One Soulful Evening ✨
This wasn’t just a conversation… it was an experience. 😌
A reminder that spirituality is not separate from our daily lives — it lives in our creativity, our choices, our discipline and how we show up for one another.
We explored what it means to: • Make creative decisions in everyday life • Be well-trained in our craft so we can expand and express • See the divinity in ourselves and in others • Let creativity move through us, not just from us
From dance as prayer 💃🏽… to presence as practice 🧘🏾 … to living in conversation with something greater ✨…
Thank you to everyone who came, shared, listened and felt.

✨ Meet our next panelist • Lady Gang ✨
Musician • Producer • Sonic storyteller
Lady Gang (Jen Korte) is a visionary artist whose work explores the powerful connection between creativity, ancestry, and spiritual expression. After nearly two decades fronting the award-winning Denver band Jen Korte & The Loss, her solo project has evolved into a genre-bending journey where loop pedal, electric guitar, Caribbean and Latin rhythms, and powerhouse vocals collide.
Her move to the Virgin Islands — and a deeper exploration of her Puerto Rican heritage — opened a new chapter in her artistry, grounding her music in lineage, culture, and memory.
For Lady Gang, music is more than entertainment — it’s medicine. As she often says, “the song is the offering and the dance is the prayer.”
At Cocktails & Conversations: For the Soulful, she’ll share how ancestry, travel, and spiritual intuition shape her creative process — and how artists learn to listen deeply to the inspiration moving through them. ✨

A graduate of Oberlin College with a degree in Africana Studies, he spent years teaching in Louisiana before returning home to serve the Virgin Islands community.
Rooted in African spiritual traditions and influenced by Black Power and nationalist thought, Malachi sees creativity and leadership as acts of collective responsibility. His philosophy reminds us that what we create should uplift the whole.
At Cocktails & Conversations: For the Soulful ✨, Malachi will help us explore what it means to create with intention, alignment, and reverence for the source.
