We meet on the second Monday of each month, next month (June 8th) we’ll be chatting about Neuromancer by William Gibson. Neuromancer, published in 1984, is set in a near-future dystopia and follows a computer hacker enlisted into a crew for a high-stakes heist. It is a deeply influential classic that has been described as “the quintessential cyberpunk novel”.

If you don't know what the hell I'm on about, this week Reddit user lolmeowtown posted a thread onto /r/Denver asking for help beating FFX's chocobo racing and lightning dodging. The chocobo racing has been bested, but tonight lolmeowtown will be bringing their Switch to the Tap in an attempt to find someone who can help them out and do the lightning dodging.
I've done it before-- but over ten years ago and on the PS3. I hear th Switch version is trickier. Anywho, if you have any FFX experience and want to try your hand at it, the first person to successfully dodge 200 lightning bolts will get a $50 gift card for helping out their fellow FF fan. Tonight at 8:30!

The Kaiju Preservation Society follows an ordinary delivery driver who takes a job with a group studying massive creatures in an alternate dimension. It’s a fun sci-fi adventure that’s more of a pop song than a brooding symphony of a novel.
Congrats to our final four for Mario Kart Monday! They withstood the trail of our April Fools twist, you can’t get first place! In true second place spirit, Shannon won our surprise twist Mario Kart Monday! Unfortunately, for Matt since he landed in first place he got our @jeppsonmalort shot. Tune next time for more chaos.
