This is just such a heartbreaking and immense loss. Andre Leon Tally meant so much to so many and I am personally so sad to see him go. Whether it was through America’s Next Top Model or even his cameos in The Hills, I grew up knowing that he was a maverick in a industry that didn’t seem to like people that looked like us. I could not imagine the amount of struggle it took to get where he was, but I want to thank him because he opened my eyes that I can too be black, fabulous, and fashionable.
