Okay folks. We're officially calling it a day. We're not really ones for big send offs, as such as of Sunday 27th July 2025 the Stoneworks is officially closed. It's been a fun 9 years, we've achieved so many things that many simply thought we couldn't. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through it all.
TRIAL 2.0!! We ironed out some of the creases, and got some great feedback about our gameshow style quiz! Amazing how much fun can be had with some buzzers and whiteboards! Come down and help us continue to test the format!

With only 2 tap takeovers left in 2024, we thought that it would be nice to celebrate a brewery that has supported us for some years now and have managed to find that sweet spot between being flavour forward and being accessible. Sure, a lot of their names are punny, but the beer behind them is seriously good. On any given day, you will find 2 or 3 of their beers up on the boards, but on this day, they will have all 28 boards to showcase their incredible range and styles and flavours. We will also, for one day only, have a couple of custom made cocktails using their spirits. So on Friday November 29th, we invite Brew York to take over the taps!
On top of this, to make it extra special, we have a new food truck that has been taking the city by storm! @theitalianbros.uk will be outside with us slinging their stone baked Italian pizza sandwiches!!
Yep, we know... where else would you want to be!?

Here at the Stoneworks, we are always on the lookout for incredible breweries to fill up our taps. Sometimes we we find new exciting breweries, and sometimes we are rediscover breweries that have been around for a while that just haven't regularly graced our taps.
For our October Tap Takeover, it is the latter. Earlier this year we had a TTO with Indie Rabble who had an incredible collab with Tartarus brewery and we just couldn't get that beer out of our head. Lucky for us, the folks over at Tartarus were happy that they had their beers at ours and asked if we wanted to work with them. Of course we did, but we felt that it wouldn't be enough to just put a couple of their beers on. Their portfolio is so vast, with beers ranging from an easy drinking lager to flavoured stouts, pales and IPAs to wheat beers, we couldn't narrow down what we wanted... so we offered them a full Tap Takeover of their own. And finally the time has come. On October 25th, we welcome Tartarus to take over the taps!
Come join us for something a bit different! We all love us a good Tiny Desk set and have decided that we are going to showcase some of the best sets the massively successful Web series has to offer! From headline artists to an obscure new favourite, Tiny Desk has a plethora of 20-30 minute sets. We are going to pick a few of them and have us a good old fashioned viewing party!
Come on down and meet up with some like-minded musos or just as a reason to get out of the house; and on the night help us out by voting for the next artist's sets that we show off!

For this month's tap takeover, we are bringing in 2 breweries that are fairly new to us. We are constantly on the lookout for (new to us) breweries to keep things fresh and interesting, but it is not often that we are able to find two that have a portfolio diverse enough for a TTO...Enter Two Flints and Missing Link. These two breweries might not frequent our taps, but we are extremely proud to be able to show them off.
Two Flints has been around for only 2 short years, but in those years they have made quite a name for themselves. Their goal is to make high quality modern beer with a focus on hop forward pales/IPAs, and boy do they deliver. Every beer they make is meticulously designed and brewed on a state of the art kit enabling them to deliver up a product exactly how it is conceptualised. Expect these beers to be big, bold, and delicious!
Missing Link brewery is completely new to us but have been going quite a while now. Located in the Sussex countryside, they've mostly kept things local up until now. They are environmentally focused when it comes to the brewing process so they use solar assist for electrics, local wood chips for heating their boiler, they compost their hops and yeast to make natural fertiliser, and even use a reed bed to filter their liquid waste. All of that is incredible, but what makes it even better is the beers they are producing are fantastic as well. They run the gamut on styles, with each and every one of them delivering on what it promises.
To top all of this off, we are so excited to welcome to Peterborough for the first time Steaks are High, they will be pitched up outside the front of the bar serving up steak subs that are to die for!
