Point Park University School of Dance is heading to Atlanta with 14 dancers to perform “Remaining Vibrations” by faculty artist Marc Spaulding at the International Association of Blacks in Dance conference.
An educator, choreographer, and performer with 20+ years of professional experience, Marc trained at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, earned his BFA from the University of the Arts and MFA from UC Irvine, and has performed everywhere from Broadway and PHILADANCO to film, television, and international tours. In the studio, his integrity, rigor, and care for the next generation of artists define his work.
IABD’s annual conference is one of the most important gatherings for Black dance artists, educators, and companies from around the world; a space for performance, dialogue, legacy, and future-building in our field.

Marc Spaulding is a choreographer, educator, and Assistant Professor at Point Park University with over 20 years of professional experience, a versatile performer whose credits span Broadway, film, television, and companies like PHILADANCO and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and an accomplished choreographer whose work has been presented at major festivals, universities, and international stages.
