Care Managers will work directly with impacted families by providing hands-on support, resource navigation, needs assessments, referrals, recovery planning, and ongoing case management services. From connecting residents to housing and mental health resources, to helping families navigate financial assistance and rebuilding efforts, this role plays a major part in restoring stability throughout the community.

Thankful to have received the opportunity to serve as the keynote speaker for Empowerment Congress West Area (#ECWA) Neighborhood Development Council’s “Youth Leadership Summit” held in #LeimertPark this morning. Any chance I get to empower the youth and tell them something I wish I could’ve heard at their age, I jump at it. ❤️💙
To be able to share my story with the local youth and let them know that they are loved and not defined by their environment is information they need to hear. And to further let them know that if they do slip and make a mistake like I did in my youth, that with unwavering faith and persistence, they too, can overcome and still achieve prosperous lives — despite previous failure. ✊🏾🙏🏾
