''It was the unexpected moments that created the strongest sense of connection during my time with ORKCA. Whether through shared conversations over meals or small, human exchanges that transcended background and geography, those moments reminded me how easily people can find common ground.
I still hold these, and many other memorable experiences from my time with the organisation, close to my heart. I've met so many good people who are genuinely committed to giving the world—and the animals living in it—a better tomorrow. People who help unhesitatingly, without limiting themselves to the financial or commercial ramifications.
Yes, dreams need to be rooted in practical ground, and with Nabot, Andreia, and the rest of the leadership team, I have no doubt that the ORKCA vision possesses not just heft, but teeth. The Rewilding Credit Initiative is something I speak about often during dinner conversations with people who have vested interests in the environment.
But dreams are also dreamt by humans, and I love that while the world is a big place, sometimes simple moments shared over dinner can shrink that distance and remind us of our shared humanity. Those moments make us realize that we’re a lot more similar than we think, regardless of where we come from.
And that’s why we should come together and support great organizations like ORKCA, which bring people together around a shared purpose and are trying to make the world a better place, one animal at a time—especially in times like these. ''

The craziest thing happened. I interviewed my childhood idol Tony Leung.
It was months in the making with multiple back and forths between his team, the agency, and me. Halfway through the process, I kept thinking that this really was just a fever dream and the person on the other end was just playing a prank. Even on the day of the shoot, a part of me kept thinking that he would pull out at the last minute.
And then, he walked through the door, in the flesh, my growing up years manifested in front of me. Sometimes, dreams do come true.
