Honestly, it’s hard to explain what it takes to actualize your dreams. The easy answer is hard work. But that’s not the full story. It requires belief, resilience, consistency, and a sprinkle of insanity.
I’ve learned that outcomes improve when the goals get more of your attention than the obstacles. After all, you typically get more of what you focus on.
People do not differ in their desire to win; they differ in the price they are willing to pay to win. The price is late nights, early mornings, failures, missteps, long flights, fruitless meetings, and so much more.
In the past, I’d be on to the next immediately. This milestone means a little bit more because it proves that the last year’s accomplishment of #652 wasn’t a fluke, it was a preview. Moving forward, please acknowledge me as Mr. 145!
If you ever question if you’re on the right path, never forget, you can’t escape purpose. Just keep going!

I’m on a faith walk that I would have never predicted earlier in life. Writing a book and being open and vulnerable about my thoughts and values was never a goal of mine. It took a tragic moment to spark a practice of writing down thoughts and feelings that ultimately became a book.
