According to @billboard , Prince and The Revolution: Live is Prince's 33rd Top 40-charting album on the Billboard 200 — and his first live release to reach the chart.

For the first time, Prince and @therevolution 's historic March 30, 1985 Purple Rain Tour performance at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York has been remixed from the original 2" master reels, and the film has been digitally enhanced onto Blu-ray video.
Prince and The Revolution: Live is available today, and marks the first time that this historic concert is available on vinyl (as a 3-LP set) and on CD (as a 2-CD/Blu-ray set). A limited Collector's Edition will be available exclusively from the Prince Store, and includes the remixed and remastered audio on 3 colored LPs, 2 CDs, the Blu-ray video, a luxe 44-page book with unseen photos and new stories from @therevolution , and a 24 x 36 poster.
In addition to the physical releases, Prince and The Revolution: Live is also the first Prince release to be made available on streaming platforms in spatial audio.
