Great to have some of our team attend this week’s Property Council of Australia Lunch with the Lord Mayor.
It was an insightful afternoon hearing firsthand about the future of Brisbane and the ongoing conversation around housing, density and affordability - something we love to talk about!
A highlight for us — Brad walking away with the lucky door prize 🎉
Appreciate the @propertycouncil and @brisbane.lordmayor for bringing together such an important conversation about our city’s future.

We're thrilled to be part of this project, delivering 141 homes for Queenslanders.
Members of our planning, surveying and project delivery team got their feet dirty at the sod turning milestone last week with @ausbuild and @logancity.council Mayor Jon Raven.
Well done to our teams for their ongoing contribution to deliver these lots to the market to meet much needed demand in Logan.

Our emerging professional's group (TEPnet) and guests recently came together for an inspiring afternoon learning, exploring, and connecting at the new Glasshouse Theatre in South Bank.
Designed to support the ongoing growth of performing arts in Queensland, the theatre is set to welcome up to 300,000 additional visitors each year once fully operational.
The tour provided great insight into the State Government’s partnership with @blightrayner , highlighting how design challenges were addressed through collaboration, practicality, and lessons learned from existing venues.
Exclusive behind‑the‑scenes access, a moment on stage during Queensland Ballet’s Messa da Requiem, and networking drinks at The Charming Squire rounded out a fantastic afternoon of learning and connection for emerging professionals.
If you're an emerging professional in the development / design / construction industries and would like to know more or attend our next event, reach out to our TEPnet committee.

That’s a wrap on our @sharethedignityaustralia March Dignity Drive!
We are absolutely thrilled with the generosity shown throughout the campaign. Thanks to you, we filled the donation box completely - and then some - meaning all items will be going to some very deserving people.
A huge thank you to all of our guests who attended our International Women’s Day event and generously brought along bags of donations, to our amazing staff for their ongoing support, and to @goodworkhr , who so generously donate every year. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring community.

Our very own Natalie Rayment and Tom Kennedy had a great chat with Steve Austin on @abclisten Radio Brisbane about @brisbanecitycouncil ’s proposed changes to low-medium density residential zones.
They talked about how these changes could unlock more housing and more choice for Brisbane, and what changes you might see if you live in one of these areas. This reform is a step in the right direction as we look to create more affordable housing diversity for more people across Brisbane.
Head to the link and skip ahead to the 22-minute mark to hear Natalie’s interview: .au/listen/programs/brisbane-mornings/mornings/106456588

It’s been a week since our 2026 International Women’s Day event, and the buzz is still alive in the office. The energy, conversations, and collective drive to keep pushing for change have absolutely stayed with us.
We welcomed 80 guests and staff into our Newstead office for our annual ThereforHER celebration. Whether you were in the room or cheering us on from afar, we’re so grateful to have you as part of this community and this event every year.
Everyone came together with such a strong spirit of inclusion, impact, connection – and generosity. Thanks to everyone’s donations to the Dignity Drive, we completely filled the donation box… and we’re still going!
A huge thank you to Meg Luton, our brilliant Therefor Group MC, and Stephanie Kline for sharing the load so seamlessly.
And to @rochellecourtenay from @sharethedignityaustralia – what a powerhouse! Rochelle didn’t just speak; she challenged us. She reminded us that period poverty isn’t solved with a few donated products. It needs:
✅ Powerful advocacy,
✅ Systemic change, and
✅ A commitment to supporting every woman who needs it.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to keep growing our ThereforHER network, elevating important conversations, and supporting initiatives that drive meaningful change. International Women’s Day might be one day – but our commitment to celebrating and championing women is every day.
If you’ve got an idea, a partnership, or a project you’d love to collaborate on, we’d love to hear from you.

They might not look like much, but these little black pouches are doing a mighty job of supporting women in our industry.
Their origin story? Well, it all came about after Therefor Group's Director of Surveying Nick McKelvey suggested we take a look at @thegocompanytas after reading an article about female tradies leaving the industry in droves - all because they don't have access to basic women's facilities or hygiene products on site.
It sparked an important conversation in our office; so many of our women working in surveying and environmental roles spend their days on site - how can we better support our female field staff?
Meet the GO Bag from The GO Company! Compact and discreet packs with all the essential hygiene and sanitary packs for women who work on the go and small enough to fit in the car door, tool bag, or backpack.
Tassie tradies Logan DeRuyter-Barnett and Jasmyn Smith are the Change Leaders behind the GO bags. Take a look, and better still, start the conversation - how can your company better support women in the workforce?
