Whistle-stop, half-term jaunt to New York (thanks to my Family for this amazing birthday present 🫶). Storm King sculpture park is epic. Other highlights included oysters under Grand Central Station, Lois Dodd at Moma, the Guggenheim and its permanent collection of paintings (feat. Rousseau, see fig. 11), the community art day at @powerhouse_arts (three stories of studios, workshops and exhibition space - a ‘factory’ for art and ideas) with screen printing and kilns the size I’ve never seen before and yesterday caught the tail-end of a handmade boat regatta🤘#gameon #backtoit

Smashing week stone carving @learningstone on Portland, at the site that St Paul’s cathedral was quarried. The first sculpture park in a quarry in the uk which has inspired permanent and temporary work by Phyllida Barlow, Philip King and Richard Wilson (among many others). All sorts of courses on offer and collaborations welcome. Amazing place🤘#readingrock
