There are books… and then there are masterpieces that carry presence, purpose, and power from the very moment you lay eyes on them. āœØšŸ“– *Worthy of the Room* by F.T. Smith is nothing short of regal — beautifully written, beautifully designed, and authored by a woman whose grace, brilliance, and excellence radiate through every single page. This is more than a book; it is a statement, an experience, and a reminder that we are all called to walk boldly into the spaces prepared for us. The beauty of this project is only matched by the beauty of the visionary behind it. šŸ‘‘ Do yourself a favor and secure your copy TODAY. Trust me… this is one worthy of your bookshelf, your coffee table, and your spirit. šŸ’« #WorthyOfTheRoom #LinkInMyStory Ms. Smith, I am endlessly proud of you 🧔 @timadmay

My heart is so full after yesterday’s time in Harrisburg with True Abundant Life. 🧔 Rev. Frederick Chapman—thank you, truly. To you and the ENTIRE True Abundant Life organization, I am deeply grateful for the invitation and for the opportunity to pour into such a room filled with incredible hearts, open minds, and a shared commitment to healing and growth. The work you all are doing in the area of mental health and wellness is not only necessary—it is life-changing. To witness it up close, to feel it in the room, to connect with so many of you one-on-one… it moved me in a way I won’t soon forget. I pray that my words resonated with you as deeply as I meant them. Every story, every charge, every reminder to take care of ourselves and one another—it all came from a very real place. Because this work matters. You matter. Let’s continue to break barriers, have the hard conversations, and most importantly—continue to SET THE BAR HIGHER when it comes to how we care for our minds, our spirits, and our communities. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of something so powerful. I’m still carrying that room with me. šŸ’« Love, Ms. Abbott 🧔✨

A packed room, powerful stories, and a reminder of the impact one voice can have. We had the opportunity to capture @spwmainline ’s Women’s History Month event, featuring @therealmsabbott —the real-life inspiration behind @abbottelemabc —in conversation with @crwdiversity . From leadership and resilience to staying true to your values, this was one of those events you could feel in the room. Here’s a quick look at the night. šŸŽ„ #CinemaCakeFilmmakers

Yesterday with the Society of Professional Women was such a refreshing experience. I was asked a question I have never before been asked: How has being a caretaker for my 104-year-old mother shaped the way I show up in the world today? šŸ’› As we close out Women’s History Month, I’m reminded of the many hats we wear — wife, caretaker, mother, teacher, leader — and the incredible women whose shoulders we stand on. Let’s take a moment to honor not only ourselves, but the legacy of those who paved the way. Thank you to the Society of Professional Women for the opportunity to reflect intentionally, share space, and connect with such inspiring women. ✨ #WomensHistoryMonth #Leadership #Legacy #Gratitude #WomenSupportingWomen Caregiving SetTheBarHigher

104 years young!!! 🌹✨ What a blessing. What a gift. What a miracle. She has seen the world change in ways most of us only read about — and through it all, she has remained steady, faithful, and full of grace. And today, at 104, she is still here. Still smiling. Still covering her family with love. That is JOY. That is favor. That is legacy in real time. Happy Birthday to my beautiful mother. I thank God I still get to say that. šŸŒ¹šŸ’› šŸ“ø @keithpelzer

For her work in the classroom, Ms. Abbott has received numerous awards and commendations, including being recognized three times as a ā€œWho’s Who Among America’s Finest Teachersā€ and named an ā€œEveryday Heroā€ by the Philadelphia Daily News. However, her most notable honor was naming her years-long sitcom, Abbott Elementary, after her former student, actress, writer, and comedian Quinta Brunson, who was Ms. Abbott’s sixth-grade student. /2026/02/joyce-marie-abbott-black-educator-hall-of-fame/ #BlackEDHoF @phillys7thward @centerblacked @quintab @therealmsabbott @abbottelemabc

Happy 39th Birthday Janeé… my only child. My answered prayer. My built-in best friend. 🧔 There are not enough words to explain what it means to be your mother. You didn’t just grow up — you grew into purpose. You didn’t just step up — you stood firm when life took a whirlwind turn for me and everything shifted overnight. When the lights got brighter and the rooms got bigger, you didn’t flinch. You organized it. You protected it. You elevated it. You became my brand manager, my strategist, my voice of reason, my calendar keeper, my armor, and still — somehow — my baby. What people don’t see is the late nights. The contracts. The travel days. The ā€œMom, I’ve got itā€ moments. You stepped in with grace, intelligence, discernment, and vision — and you have helped steward this season of my life with excellence. But beyond the titles and the work… you are my friend. The one I chat with. Laugh with. Debrief with. Dream with. 39 years ago, God trusted me with you. And every single year since, you have made me proud in ways that humble me. You are brilliant. You are discerning. You are loyal. You are anointed. You are a force. And you are still my little girl. May this year return to you everything you so freely give to others. May it overflow with joy, ease, clarity, love, and rooms where your name is called. Happy Birthday, my daughter. My greatest gift. My forever girl. I love you more than words could ever hold. Love, mom 🧔✨

Yesterday at the Camden Citywide School Fair powered by @one_camden , my heart was FULL. 🧔 To stand in the middle of so many scholars, educators, administrators, community organizations, and city leaders—and to truly connect one on one around a shared commitment to collaboration and raising the bar for quality education—was nothing short of powerful. This year’s theme, PASSPORT TO POSSIBILITIES, was felt. A passport isn’t just a document, it’s a pathway. A promise. A reminder that where you start does not determine how far you can go. Education is the passport, and when we commit to quality, equity, and care, the destination becomes limitless. āœˆļøšŸ“˜āœØ My deepest thanks to Tameka Mason, CEO of @one_camden , for the invitation, the vision, and the tireless work you do every day for Camden’s children and families. Thank you to Mayor Victor Carstarphen and all of the city officials who made a point to connect, converse, and collaborate. Your presence matters more than you know. To every person who purchased my book, took a photo, shared an encouraging word, or simply stopped to say hello—thank you. Those moments mean everything to me. And of course, thank you to my incredible team for holding me down from start to finish—y’all are unmatched. Special shoutout to Philly’s own @djdiamondkuts for keeping the high school fair FUELED and the energy high all day long! šŸŽ¶šŸ”„ Camden, you showed up with heart, hope, and purpose. Let’s keep these conversations going. Let’s keep building together. And let’s keep setting the bar—HIGHER. — SET THE BAR tee available at the link in my bio šŸ‘• Makeup by the always amazing @iraanthony šŸ’„āœØ

2025 Recap | Part 2 of 2 ✨ August through December—where the year deepened, slowed just enough to savor, and reminded me why the work matters. From milestones and core memories, to celebrating another year of life, the one-year anniversary of my book, moments of joy (yes… even an Eagles game in style šŸ¦…), and continuing to connect with changemakers across the country—this chapter was rich. As you watch, listen closely to the voiceover. Let the wisdom settle. Carry it with you as we step into a new year with clarity, courage, and intention. I close 2025 grateful for every room entered, every conversation shared, and every life connected along the way. Leadership is about presence—and this year reminded me just how powerful that can be. Happy New Year to all. Here’s to what’s ahead. ✨
