Macaw is about a mid-career guy in a rut, who goes on a self-help cruise themed to the teachings of an over-amped guru Ernie "Macked Up" Bigman (played by Lance) and has a revelatory, mind-bending experience. The Walden School recently announced the Lance Reddick Scholarship in Lance’s memory. Ten students will be selected for a full scholarship to the five-week summer Young Musicians Program. Each student will be provided with full tuition, room, and board, along with a travel stipend. Apply by Friday, March 1, 2024, at waldenschool.org/apply/. Link in bio for more information.
While Lance was most well known for his television and film work, he was also a lifelong musician and attended The Walden School from 1976-1980 (second photo), returning in 1983 as a Walden faculty member.
