bb's first time in a fire circle 🥹 Six weeks ago,
@therealjacksonbush had never touched a dragonstaff or spun fire. This past weekend at Alchemy, he spun my staff multiple times by himself (including in conclave, in front of the whole burn), and also with me 🥰🥳
When Jackson expressed interest in trying partner dragon stuff over Labor Day weekend, I got super excited for multiple reasons. For one, I've never taught someone who had zero solo dragon experience how to spin partner dragon. I've also never dated someone who wanted to learn anything about dragonstaff from me- let alone allow me to lead them through partner dragon sequences.
Tbh I never saw this relationship coming for a minute, but damn I feel fortunate to have found him. Thank you for lovingly supporting me through stressful periods, creating art with me, celebrating my goofy side, working to befriend the people closest to me, trusting me to care for you through unfamiliar experiences, expressing interest in my scientific research, and for always, always wanting to coordinate outfits ❤️🔥😘
More moves are loading, both for him individually and for us as a duo. We'll be training all winter so that we can bust out something awesome at Flame 2026!
