Developed as a study in contrast, texture and movement, the work focuses on the sensory tension that defines Guinness: a deep tonal stout, luminous crema & an unmistakable pour. 🖤🤎🤍✨
The idea was to capture the beauty of the meeting point between smoothness & freshness, where components interact in ways that feel both precise & expressive. Moving between recognisable product form & abstract liquid detail, the imagery explores the power & beauty of dynamic interactions across different scales: from nitrogenation effects and suspended droplets to larger liquid structures shaped through swirls, bursts, cascades & flowing textures. 👩🏻🎨👨🏻🎨📸💫
The result is a visual language rooted in craftsmanship, appetite appeal & atmosphere - where the extraordinary takes form. 🪄✨

For their great annual “Where to Eat Now” best new restaurants issue, we teamed up with @texasmonthly to create a cover featuring a full-on typographic feast. Every letter of the headline was crafted with real food inspired by the menus of this year’s standout spots - from pristine omakase & fresh oysters to sandwiches & golden fries, a floral salad & delicious soup.

“The New Old Age”, a brand new cover for @time ’s longevity issue. In this feature, @aliceparktime reframes aging and explores how longer life expectancy as a demographic phenomenon is shaping up society - and how extra decades demand new ways of thinking about health, work, and purpose. ✌️👵🏻👴🏽📈
The title becomes a custom birthday candle lockup: a visually familiar marker of age and the passing of years, reimagined as a larger stack to illustrate a world where a shift towards populations growing older and living longer redefines aging. 🎨🎂✨

Inspired by the story’s YA intoxicating rebellious spirit, we envisioned a ‘rose molotov’ — a delicate bloom consumed by flames. Captured in-camera, real fire licked the petals, leaving behind thin glowing embers, deep dancing flames & a touch of luminous sparkles — adding an extra layer of drama to the visual. 🔮🌹🔥✨ The simple, yet assertive handwritten lettering was designed to enhance the sense of movement & intensity of the hero visual whilst echoing the novel’s dark energy — balancing excitement with danger, mirroring the tension between beauty & chaos. 🌀🌀✨

For this gig poster, we wanted to take a different approach, embracing a classic illustration style while keeping the creative process open and exploratory, layering ideas as we went. 🎨✨

Our starting point? Dots. Inspired by Faye’s iconic “HA-HA” stickers, we saw dots as a playful and graphically versatile element — simple, yet full of energy. Leaning into that spirit, we transformed them into bold confetti, adding pops of her signature bright blue for depth and vibrancy. 🔵👌🏻✨
Next came typography — a bold, linear font stacked to create rhythm and contrast against the fluid interplay of dots. Neon blue inversions on background overlays added a fresh, dynamic composition, balancing structure with spontaneity. We used the beautiful Faroe typeface from our friends at @typeverything ✌🏻🙃🙂✨
To infuse a folk-inspired touch, we introduced vintage encyclopedic-style birds, bridging classic illustration with contemporary design. 🕊️🦜🎶✨
For the finishing touch, we got a special spot gloss treatment on the dots and the birds’ eyes — because who doesn’t love a little extra shine?… 💎✨

Here’s the cover art we recently created for our friends at Texas Monthly to illustrate a modern environmental issue: the scarcity & mismanagement of water resources. 🌎🌀💦
It’s a topic we’re passionate about, and alas is now dangerously too common around the world. In this context, we’re looking at the situation of Texas - being faced with a rapidly increasing population and a rapidly diminishing water supply. 🥵 This important & brilliantly penned feature examines who’s wasting this vital natural resource, and what can be done to conserve it. We brought the story to life using bold typography and a gush of precious pristine water getting poured over, captured colliding in the moment, forever disappearing. 🎨🙏🏻💦

We were commissioned by our friends at Garden & Gun to create the visuals for their 15th edition of the iconic “Made in the South Awards”, the annual competition celebrating artisans & makers of standout lifestyle products & crafts from the South of the US.
Using crystal as a symbolic anniversary material, we designed a bold minimalist roman numeral lock-up to marry with our lettering, playing with refraction, light & casting bright chromatic caustic spills effects across the headline.
