From the very first discovery calls, to-be-weds spoke about feeling instantly comfortable, excited, and understood. Ells’ calm, joyful presence set the tone - creating space for people to be fully themselves, laugh freely, and stay grounded in what actually mattered on the day.
On the wedding day itself, Ells was described as somehow being everywhere at once - capturing moments without ever interrupting them, gently reminding couples to do what made them happy, and holding the energy of the day with ease and care. Their films weren’t just technically stunning - they were emotionally rich, intentional, and deeply reflective of queer joy as it actually feels.
Couples also shared how powerful it was to have a videographer who doesn’t just work with the LGBTQ+ community, but actively builds it. Knowing that Ells is a co-founder of the directory, and that the team behind the camera shares the same values, made planning feel easier, safer, and far more joyful.
