On this day 11 years ago: BWB4. Among other things: Daulerio heading up @deadspin when Deadspin was Deadspin, Joe Sports Fan challenged @kobayashitakeru to a chug off, @deitsch showed off his feminism & @nodunksinc was Basketball Jonesin’.
13 years ago, me @bunch and @cwlucas came up with this idea of mainstreaming the Wild West of sports blogging. Little did we know we’d have everyone from MLBTV to ESPN to SI wanting to get in on the action and join in conversations with everyone from @sbnation to @bleacherreport to @fansided to @deadspin to Hugging Harold Reynolds and every other blogger hosting on blogspot and beyond. This was one of my favorite memories (and groups) that got invited to play wiffle ball with @99mitchwilliams and Harold Reynolds himself.
