People who know me know I NEVER talk about what I do or have done. So when I was asked to be a part of the cover, I was genuinely surprised. Huh? Why me? But nah, I’ve DONE and AM doing the work. THANK YOU to @d_rolle for ALWAYS seeing me and my work (and @heyitsarlesha for recommending me). To share a double cover with LEGENDS like @rachel.luba , @kristenkuliga , @denisewhite_eag , and the INCOMPARABLE @lisaleslie was SURREAL. It’s really an honor to share space with you badass women in sports!
The last 17yrs in this industry has been a JOURNEY. And not being in a traditional space the last 5 years has been even more of a journey. Being essentially a one woman team (shoutout to @djjazzygirl and Brianna for holding me down on the admin side) is daunting and feels impossible at times, but we’re WORKING! HUGE thank you to @msmiakay for helping me tell my story - because she knew I wouldn’t do it. Being seen and honored in this way means SO MUCH. Lastly, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to everyone who’s been supporting MiS since day 1. I appreciate y’all more than you know! THANK YOU!
Now go order the latest issue of @set_media magazine so I can be on your coffee table (AND read our dope stories) and go follow and support @misportsbiz ✌🏾✌🏾

Sat on @slam ’s #LeagueBiz podcast with @missaugust , @theomarbailey and host @bydenisboateng to discuss some sports biz stuff. In the wake of Dr. Claudine Gay’s recent resignation, this clip was appropriate. Women have a whole set of additional standards when it comes to the workplace - Black women have a whole set of standards ON TOP of that. Episode dropping today!

First I’d like to say THANK YOU to @empoweronyx and @sportsillustrated for including me in their 100 Influential Black Women in Sports series - I’m beyond honored. And to be the first feature? WOW - speechless. Thank you to whoever submitted my name for consideration, I APPRECIATE and love you. Thank you to @r_oben for submitting a quote and always supporting me and everything @misportsbiz does. And lastly thank you to my bestie @msmiakay for being my de facto publicist by always making sure I have talking points about my career - because I hate talking about myself. Lastly, it’s been tough to be proud of myself or celebrate myself during this #sportsbiz journey because it’s been a TOUGH road for me (to say the least). So thank you to EVERYONE who has supported and has been a helping hand during this journey. To my fellow Black women in this industry - I SEE YOU AND I’M PROUD OF YOU ❤️
I looked cute - so it belonged on the feed. More importantly - CONGRATS to my friend @shardesimpsonesq and @jamesthechange on your nuptials. So honored to witness your love!

Truly brought in 40 in the best way. No big plans (work took over, I’ll reassess in 6 mths lol). But I appreciate everyone who celebrated me, had a glass with me, took me out, sent a gift, called/FaceTimed, messaged, texted, or reached out. Y’all made a girl feel loved. Wishing for a year of more fois gras, champagne, and caviar situations!
This year tested, stretched, and pushed me in ways I couldn’t imagine. There was immense grief - but there were also pockets of joy and for that I’m grateful! I feel REALLY optimistic going into 2026! 🥂to 2026!
