The OK Theatre in Enterprise, Oregon was built in 1918 - swipe to see the historic image. OK Fest was born in 2024 to celebrate 10 years of ownership by The Brann Family. 🎉 The weekend will consist of film and music inside the theatre, as well as live music on Main Street in front of the theatre on Saturday. Mark your calendars and invite your friends to @okfestenterprise @theoldok 🎶🥁 Back in 2024 @zachtop was the headliner and at the time he was just starting to take flight in his music career. The night before he was actually playing at Watershed and I remember seeing the OK Fest flyer with his name on it thinking “no way this is right” I even tried calling to confirm like “THE ZACH TOP?? This is real? Not a parody? Not Zach Flop?” We rolled out to Enterprise and once we spotted him near the stage we breathed a sigh of relief and excitement like “IT IS HIM” Hanging out in the beer garden with @riceandbeanscollective - which, if you don’t follow her, please do so you can be fully suited and booted in western apparel, she says “I have a shirt for him, I just don’t know how to get it to him” 2 beers in, my friend and I grab the shirt and we make our way to where Zach (first name basis ya) is hanging out in a roped off area. We weren’t sure if anyone realized who he was because there were only 6 of us waiting in a make shift line just to get a quick pic and drop of this shirt. Oh and a hat we snagged for him from @terminalgravitybrewingco because we wanted him to rep EO! Anyway, we finally get to seeing him and we had a quick little exchange “hey man love the music, how about them Mariners” and we give him the shirt and the hat, which he was really grateful for. Our friend Rice and Beans was shook that we just unshamefully handed him some free swag and we thought that that was the end of the story, until he came out on stage wearing the vintage shirt we gave to him, like @riceandbeanscollective was his personal stylist! He gave the shirt away at the end of the night but we got to capture some footage of him giving us a shout out and repping the shirt and for a small business owner like herself, her street cred went up and now we have a fun story to tell. Moral of the story is that you never know who you’re going to see at these small festivals.
