Development pictures of my upcoming collection titled « La fête des fous » . This collection is grounded in the figure of the jester, a character that embodies the intersection between politics and humor. This figure is particularly relevant in a contemporary context, as it echoes several defining aspects of our generation : a prolonged relationship to childhood resulting from a lack of financial independence, the social and economic pressures placed upon young adults, which lead many individuals to seek shelter in self-destructive forms of pleasure and an affinity with gender neutrality. The jester also reflects the disenchanted and seemingly apathetic attitude of a generation that harbors few illusions, yet demonstrates resilience by processing negative information through irony and satire—most notably through meme culture. In this sense, the collection proposes a portrait of a generation that has been marginalized and disillusioned by society, navigating the complexities of contemporary life through humor, excess, and self-awareness.

Oyez! Oyez! Instagram people I’m really excited to soon share my collection inspired by the figure of the jester — a character that perfectly blends politics, humor, and rebellion. A figure that I feel deeply connected with through social pressure and the world’s political context. The jester feels deeply contemporary: caught between extended childhood and financial dependence, shaped by constant pressure, and pushed toward excess as a form of escape. It reflects a generation with no illusions, comfortable with gender neutrality, the fluidity of identities and armed with irony as a survival tool. Memes, mockery, dark humor — turning bad news into laughter has become our last refuge. And humor in itself becomes a counterpower tool . This collection is a portrait of a disillusioned yet resilient generation, navigating chaos through humor and excess. On Saturday 21st of September, We will be launching a pop-up in Milan in the rehub store with a brand new accessory collection available to purchase exclusively at @rehub_milan . We will be presenting alongside @cestnous__ @feline.labor @annakond_lf . It marks the start of an ongoing collaboration between LALIS and Rehub to which you are invited. We would be thrilled to have you on that day to inaugurate the launch in due respect. Booze, jokes, DJ set, meeting with the designers and performances are on the menu . Intrigued yet?
