We have a dream that one day music spaces will be filled with deep human connection, authentic engagement, and a live music experience like it was always meant to be experienced. Not through a phone screen, not for the clip, but in the present moment.
Hopeful to hear so many artists like @momoboyd + @spillmyink + @kidsthatfly + @thegringoss + @blairdaviemusic + @investinstockz + @armen_paul + @alisonstiel + @amyjaymusic and so many other artists and fans who stopped by the daytime phone-free activation and evening afterparty at the Mohawk in Austin this past SXSW, in partnership with @billboard + @globaldayofunplugging š¤š¼
Every artist got their very own @getbrick , including the one and only @noahkahanmusic ā the perfect way to spread tangible digital wellbeing to the creative souls shaping the futureās hearts and minds.

Had a blast bringing digital wellbeing to the Billboard House at SXSW this past Sunday. We popped up at @mohawkaustin all day āĀ then flipped the space into @theofflinesessions , a fully phone-free afterparty with a killer lineup curated by @acresofwild and @beckytahel .
No distractions. Just music, conversation, and real presence.
Phone pouches to quiet the noise. Disposable cameras everywhere. Rotary phones, conversation cards...simple things that brought people back to the basics.
Music was felt more fully, in a way that just hit different. A reminder of how good it feels to unplug and actually connect IRL.

Free for all. SXSW badge holders receive priority access.
It still blows our minds that there wasnāt already a phone-free concert space. So we helped create one.
@theofflinesessions , sensitively created & curated by GDU SuperGatherers @acresofwild & @beckytahel reimagines live music as a place where artists feel fully seen and audiences can truly listen.
No screens. No distractions. Just presence.
Weāre honored to be part of this movement alongside @billboard@musicares@afterthetone.co and WOW (Watch Our Words) - helping artists and audiences connect in a radical new way.
Weāre already dreaming about the next one. š¶
Tag a musician youād love to see take the Offline stage.
Sadie Jean sings regret and makes it sound like hope. An incredibly gifted, nuanced songwriter who manages to turn those deep angsty feelings that we donāt want to talk about into absolute smashes that we sing in the car at the top of our lungs. An old soul in a young body. The girl with the spoon who stole our hearts by pushing the āI remember what it was like to be a teenager freaking out about love and the future and life and everythingā button, @sadiejean thank you for making us cry and laugh and smile through it all ā¤ļø
Gatton makes everything feel ok. The way it all just feels so effortless for him. He could be singing about death and breakups and all the bad things and it feels like a lullaby, like a warm blanketā¦like everythingās gonna work out by the time the song is over. It doesnāt hurt that heās also exactly the same in person. Sweet, kind, comforting. @gatt0n thank you for being the hug we all needed and for helping us launch the #offlinesessions with so much grace and flare ā¤ļø
Gordi š®āšØ when we fail to articulate how incredible she is in this caption at least we can quote her and say āheaven I know that we tried.ā Gordi is so unassuming. Sheās quiet, calm, collected ā absurdly nonchalant. Then she opens her mouth, and suddenly, thereās not enough air in all the world. She sings and you hold your heart in your throat. Everything is fragile, as if the whole word is holding its breath. Maybe itās the accent, or maybe itās that crazy low voice that doesnāt make sense coming out of her face and how it can also touch the highest peaks of the most tender notes so effortlessly. Either way, @gordimusic is the epitome of the #offlinesessions and made us all feel it. Thank you for being such an important part of our dream
Nico Franc isā¦a wildcard. One minute youāre jamming to a fun, high energy bop with intricate guitar licks and insane solos and next thing you know he pulls an Uno reverse and youāre crying your eyes out to a heart wrenching ballad. Heās kind, generous, gentle and honest ā everything you want in someone whoās holding your heart in their hands. Thank you @nicofranc for blessing us with such a dynamic and powerful set to kick off the first #offlinesessions
Frances Whitney is one of those artists that hit you like a tidal wave when you first hear them. Her writing feels ancient, like some classic song you heard when you were a kid, or in a past life, and somehow at the same timeā¦current, and timely. It feels close to your heart, almost too closeā¦like sheās in your head. Singing out loud all those feelings you keep hidden away in the quietest parts of yourself. We had the immense privilege of hosting @frannybanany on the first ever #OfflineSessions hearts were broken and mended, tears were shed, lives were changed. Thanks Frances ā¤ļø
