Today, the final Israeli hostage, Ran Gvili has come home -not alive, but finally laid to rest with dignity.
A moment of profound grief and prayer for closure @remember_ran_gvili
May his memory be a blessing and may all families affected know peace, justice, and truth.
Never forget. 🕯️

Also, The House of Israel in Balboa Park, California, will also be collecting the dog tags and hostage pins from these last two years to create a meaningful art piece that will honor and remember this difficult time and how we stood united, calling for the return of the hostages.

@mamannonprofit@theofficialo7c and The Brigade came together at @stephenwisetemple to hear Rachel Goldberg-Polin speak her son Hersh’s name and share her book. Then a smaller circle gathered with @missmayim to ask: what do we do with what we heard?
A gathering is never just a gathering. It’s where we learn, share, and multiply what we’ve been given — because every person in the room can carry something forward.
A special diamond pendant was gifted to Rachel by @theofficialo7c@stephenwisetemple The Brigade and @mamannonprofit
Deepest thanks to @rabbiyoshi and @stephenwisetemple for partnering and holding the space. To Mayim Biyalik @missmayim for moderating with such care. To @limorgott from The Brigade for helping make this possible. To @sharona4love and Vera Wagman for coordinating, and to volunteers Eleanor Sonbolian, Shirley Benyamin, and Mojgan Binder.
And to every soul ready to carry her message further 🤍

Jesus would forgive when a religious symbol is broken by one lone soldier. That same cross that was destroyed in Lebanon, has been repaired and returned to its place by the same army, which is a sign of genuine respect and repentance. This is the beautiful gesture by the @idf in a village in southern Lebanon, where the cross has now been replaced for the one that was vandalized by one soldier, acting alone. This same army, is investigating, holding itself accountable, and fixing the mistake.
Meanwhile, there are people and groups who destroy churches, kill Christians, and continue without regret or any attempt to make things right- the difference is clear. We won’t hear about the mistakes of one lone soldier from other armies, but when it happens to Israel, the entire country is demonized. How is this fair?
Christians please ask, what would Jesus do in this situation? He would forgive, love and accept the apology with pure grace - showing us the Holy Way 🤲. (Thank you Idit Bar for your post and image).
Only God knows if we are in the last days, but the seasons and signs to look for as followers of Jesus are all around. It is time to be rooted in scripture, close to the Lord and staying aware of the signs, so as not to be deceived. Israel is not a side issue. 🙏
Today, Israel honors Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day). A siren sounds, and the country stops, on highways, in schools, in the middle of ordinary life, to remember the six million Jewish lives that were taken.
It’s not just a moment of silence. It’s a reminder.
The Holocaust didn’t begin with camps. It began with ideas, with lies repeated, hatred normalized, and too many people choosing not to speak up.
That’s why Holocaust education matters. Not as something distant or historical, but as something we are responsible to understand. To know how it happened. To recognize it when it starts again. To make sure it isn’t ignored.
As antisemitism rises and memory fades, remembering is not enough on its own.
It has to shape what we do next.

He survived what most couldn’t imagine.
And he’s still here, still speaking, still teaching.
Now he needs support.
Sami Steigmann is a Holocaust survivor who has spent his life sharing his story so the world doesn’t forget. Today, he’s facing a housing crisis—and we have the opportunity to show up for him in a real, tangible way.
This is what community looks like. Not just remembering—but responding.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help Sami secure safe housing.

Happy Easter to all around the world celebrating today — and in Israel — where it happened, 2000 years ago ✝️
Let us also remember to whom the story was first shared. 🙏
Jerusalem is empty. 🇮🇱 Usually, these streets would be bustling before Easter, but today the holy sites stand quiet under the threat of attack. We are standing strong to protect the history and the people. #
