Let’s make Hersh’s memory a revolution in the new year.
While this page was an initiative for Elul, here are 50 ideas of acts of light you can do anytime.
Plus, go give @liveforhersh a follow, as this page is an ongoing initiative ❤️

This is a photo from the Goldberg-Polin shiva tent. These signs display the names and shiva info of the 5 other souls taken way too soon.
There was a table of food beneath the signs. With every bracha made, each soul was kept in mind and elevated.
While this page spotlights Hersh, please keep these 5 beautiful souls top of mind with every act of kindness that is performed:
• Ori Danino
• Eden Yerushalmi
• Almog Sarusi
• Alexander Lobanov
• Carmel Gat
If you are reading this and would like to start a similar page or pages, (ideally a Hebrew speaker), please send me a DM and I can help coordinate.
Now let’s go spread kindness 🫶
Not emotionally prepared to read this but not sure I’ll ever be ❤️🩹
Every word I’ve heard from Rachel Goldberg-Polin — in countless clips over the past few years — has been poignant and profound.
I can only imagine how powerful her written words will be.
May Hersh’s memory continue to be a revolution, forever ❤️

The org “is a group of women who joined together to lovingly and anonymously send delicious meals to women during any stage of infertility and pregnancy loss ❤️
How it works: We receive anonymous requests for meals from women struggling with their fertility and volunteers from all over the country sign up to cook delicious homemade food to be delivered to their doorstep.
You can sign up for meals if you are a going through any stage of infertility and need some extra support, if you are a single woman freezing their eggs or doing IVF, if you suffered a miscarriage or pregnancy loss. The meal receivers are completely anonymous and remain so throughout the process.
Volunteers have complete flexibility - if you can’t make a meal one week, there are plenty of other women who are available to cook instead. Volunteering completely fits within your schedule and lifestyle. It’s stress-free chessed.
We believe that mealtrains shouldn’t only be sent to those blessed with a new baby, they should also be sent to those who feel alone and vulnerable.”
