Wren of @thenohm and Mertails: Elixirs as Mixers will be in town making mocktails and offering small batch medicine from her adventures around the world. Based out of Tucson, AZ, Asheville, NC, parts of Latin America and beyond @herban_urbalist 🌱 Ground Shots Herbs, the host of the space is based seasonally in Paonia, and offers small batch herbal goods made from locally grown organic herbs or thoughtfully wild foraged ingredients in the Rocky Mountains, across the Southwest, and beyond. Kelly is host of the @groundshotspodcast started 9 years ago, and has featured herbalists, artists and philosophers from around the country over the years. Also a hide tanner, Kelly’s buckskin class will be wrapping up in the yard behind the building as the pop-up begins! 🌱 Hill Country Herbs (and pies!) is Mandalin Sattler’s medicine project, also a semi-nomad based in Gateway, CO and Austin, TX. She’ll be slinging slices of pie again (a big hit in the fall during our open house!) and selling her small batch medicines and crafts made from her travels across the country. She is playing music at 6! 🌱🎶 Flower’s Essences is based in Paonia, CO, and creates small batch flower essences, intentionally made. 🌸 Cool Cool Nice Nice is Zöe Rayer’s project, also a nomad based in Paonia and beyond. Zoe is a visual artist working primarily for the the outdoor industry but also a collector of beautiful oddities and makes unique jewelry from gleaned, gathered and vintage materials. 🎨 Feral Folk Apothecary is musician Darien Lane’s traveling apothecary and crafts, made from plants across the West. Darien plays on the sidewalk at 8 pm! 🎤 Weary Bones Apothecary is Sanji’s project, made in small batch on a homestead rooted in Unaweep Canyon. Sanji creates small batch crafts as well- pit fired pottery, handmade jewelry and more. 🌱 Wild and the other creators will have the rest of the building open to chat and offer goods— come check it out! 🪑

This year we’ve been quite busy traveling and tending bar from coast to coast and internationally in the jungle of Costa Rica to the big city of CDMX and the shores of the Yucatán Peninsula weaving our beverage offerings in with conscious event productions, and the common thread being that of our dear friend @mosemusica , accompanied by @bruna.bortolato serving up Cacao Dance along with many friends who graced the stage! Special thanks to @loveacademyorg x Mose this month in Mexico for trusting and collaborating in such a way that we could bring even more nourishment to the dancefloor. Reimagining every detail down to what goes in the cup! Moments of medicine captured at @envisionfestival on Integrative Herbalism, where we curated a stellar lineup of women who are living life on the good medicine road. This conversation felt less like learning and more like remembering. While at a festival the usual suspects joined us like adaptogens, entheogens and aphrodisiacs we broke it down further to the essence and energetics, beyond a one size fits all approach and shared stories of our own unique relationship with the plants on and off the path. Other topics we discussed… Where to source herbs. How to work with them safely and intentionally. How to sit with a plant in meditation. How to listen before choosing and consuming. How to approach the spirit of an herb and let it reveal how it wants to work with you. The herbs are not trends. They’re community members and teachers. This is the shift: from using plants → to being in reciprocity with them.
